I’m Rami. This is where I think out loud. Replace this paragraph with something true about you — what you work on, what you’re curious about, how to reach you.

How it’s organised

Chronologically, which is the whole idea. Everything here is dated writing, in three kinds:

• Essays — longer pieces, with their own page.
• Notes — short dated thoughts, shown in full on the front page.
• Links — someone else’s thing, with a note on why it’s here.

These are photographs of a moment. Going back and updating how I felt about something in a given week would ruin it, so I don’t. If I change my mind, that’s a new entry, not an edit. Topics is the way in if you’d rather read by subject than by date.

No comments, no counters

There are no likes, no view counts, and no comment boxes. Part of the audience for this is me in six months. If you want to talk about something here, my contact details are in the footer.

Built with

Astro, plain CSS, and Markdown files in a Git repository. No analytics, no trackers, no client-side JavaScript beyond the theme toggle. Type is set in Iowan Old Style where it’s available, falling back through Palatino to Georgia.

There’s a feed, which is the intended way to read this.
